FORMER HERMAN WOMAN DIES

Mrs. J. P. Kepler died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Irene Genung, at Glenwood, Iowa Monday, May 21, aged 75 years, 5 months and 27 days, after an illness lasting four years. The body was brought to Herman Thursday for burial. Brief services were held at the cemetery conducted by Rev. J. W. Hilton of Lincoln, Neb. Mrs. Kepler, with her family, resided on a farm south of Herman for ten or twelve years. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Irene Genung of Glenwood, Iowa and Mrs. Helen Rogers of Washington, D.C. Four sons, Paul of Los Angeles, Calif., Don of Lincoln, Neb., Oak of Santa Barbara, Calif. and Harold of Anselmo, Neb. One sister, Mrs. Lucy E. Beach of Mt. Vernon, Iowa, six granddaughters and six grandsons.
