Taylor French, 86 years of age, of Herman, died suddenly at his home Thursday evening.

Funeral services were held Sunday at the Herman Baptist Church, the Rev. Percy Bruns officiating, with interment in Herman Cemetery.

Mr. French is survived by his son, Earl, with whom he was making his home; four grandchildren, Chester, Earl, Jr., Darrell and Lyle, and six grandchildren.

Mr. French was born June 12, 1875, and has lived in Washington County his entire life. He farmed in the Kennard and Herman area, prior to retiring.

Campbell Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
