Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 21 at Arlington Community Church in Arlington for Raymond J. French, 82, who died June 16, 1989 at Sun City, Arizona.

Visitation will be from 6:00-900 p.m. Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning at Reckmeyer Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery.

Raymond J. French was born June 3, 1907, at Arlington and grew up on the family farm in Washington County. He was baptized in the Christian Church.

He married Mildred Loftis on May 27, 1931. A farmer by trade, he and his wife moved to Arizona in 1968.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred; one son, Glenn French of Phoenix, Arizona; and one daughter, Marilyn King of Waterloo, Nebraska. Seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harold French of Blair and Gifford French of Arlington; two sisters, Ethel French and Irene Savage of Peoria, Arizona; several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles French; his mother, Naomi French; one brother, Willard; and a sister, Lila, who died in childhood.
