WILLIAM RUTLEDGE

William Rutledge of this city passed away March 27, 1934 at the age of 76 years, 11 months and 20 days. Deceased was born in Washington county, Virginia where he grew to manhood.

He was married March 16, 1880 to Miss Armenia C. Rosenbaum, and after six years they came to this county where they have since resided. Twenty six years ago he bought a farm which he cultivated for twelve years, and then moved to Blair where he has since resided.

He leaves to mourn him his wife and one sister, Mrs. A. L. Lindsey of Nevada, Mo., and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services were held this Thursday afternoon at the Bendorf Funeral Parlors with Rev. Walter H. Jackson of the Methodist church in charge, and interment was made in the Kennard cemetery.
