MRS. NELS JOHNSON CALLED

Mrs. Nels Johnson, who for the past five weeks had been confined to her bed suffering from an attack of double pneumonia, passed away Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock.

Deceased was born in the southern part of Denmark on July 13, 1860 where she grew to maturity, coming to this country in 1881 where she met and married Nels Johnson in that same year at West Point, Neb.

For two years Mr. and Mrs. Johnson made Fremont their home. In 1883 they moved to Blair where they have since made their home and where they reared their family. In all eight children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Johnson, six of whom are still living. They are Mrs. A. R. Roberts of Omaha; Mrs. Margaret Macintosh of Seattle, Washington; Arthur of south of Blair; Samuel and Mrs. Blanche McCord of Los Angeles and Joe of Santa Susana, California. These, with the aged husband, mourn deeply their loss.

Years ago Mr. and Mrs. Johnson affiliated with the Free Methodist church in this city and have always been faithful to their faith, and it is from this church that the funeral services will be held on next Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock, and interment will be made in the Blair cemetery.
