ARLINGTON MAN DIES

John Henry Echtenkamp, 72, a retired farmer with a wide acquaintance in Arlington and vicinity, died at his home in Arlington Wednesday evening, Feb. 21 at 6 o’clock following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Echtenkamp had resided in Arlington since 1917, moving at that time from his farm where he had lived for 30 years. Surviving are his wife, who has been an invalid since suffering a stroke recently, three sons, W. G., Wayne, and John W. and Leonard of Arlington, and one sister, Mrs. Ed Meyer of Wayne.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 1 o’clock at the home and at 2 o’clock at the St. Paul Lutheran church. Rev. G. W. Wolter officiated.
