THOMAS E. FRENCH RITES JULY 19

Thomas Edward French of Kennard passed away Sunday evening at the Blair hospital where he had been a patient since July 11th. His death followed a stroke.

At his death the deceased was 77 years of age. He was born on a farm near Kennard, and his entire life was spent in the neighborhood of Kennard.

On June 14, 1896 he was married to Margaret Misfeldt who preceded him in death seventeen years ago. To Mr. and Mrs. French four children were born, three of whom are living, Mrs. Ruth Gottsch of Washington, Neb.; Mrs. Margaret Hansen of Illinois; and Mrs. Lillian Plugge of Kennard. Besides these already mentioned, there are six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. from the Methodist church in Kennard with Rev. Homer L. Dickerson and Rev. P. C. Petersen, both of Blair officiating, and interment was made in the Kennard cemetery.
