EARLY COUNTY RESIDENT PASSES

Mrs. Lucy A. Taylor of Comstock, Nebraska, and early resident of Washington county, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Bushnell at Elko, Nevada on December 14 at the age of sixty three years. Death was the result of a stroke.

Born in Shipman, Illinois on September 12, 1876, she was the second eldest child of Horace G. and Eleanor M. Cross. At the age of two she, with her parents and brother, moved to Blair, pioneering in the eastern and northern parts of the state and finally moving to Columbus. In 1898 she was married to Walter S. Taylor who passed away in 1922. Since then Mrs. Taylor had made her home in Omaha until a year ago when she moved to Nevada.

She is survived by three daughters, a son, and one sister, Mrs. Robert Carmichael of Blair.
