E. F. SOUDER, 84, DIED DEC. 5

Funeral rites were held December 8 for Eli F. Souder, age 84, who died at this home in Clan Donald, Alberta, Canada, on December 5, following a stroke.

A resident of Washington County for many years, Mr. Souder formerly occupied the farm near Herman, now owned by his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. And Mrs. J. W. Brunton. He resided in Scottsbluffs also before moving to Canada. He had been married for more than sixty years to Miss Addie C. Mead, daughter of the late Giles and Louise Mead of Herman and sister of Mrs. C. B. Bunn of Blair. Surviving Mr. Souder, besides his widow, are several sons and daughters, and two sisters, Mrs. J. Wesley Brunton and Mrs. A. L. Sullivan, both of Herman.
