MALLIE COFFIN RITES MONDAY

C. M. “Mallie” Coffin of near Fort Calhoun died at his home last Friday, November 17 after an illness of several months' duration. Death came as the result of a heart attack.

Deceased was born November 30, 1881, and would have been fifty eight years of age at his next birthday. He was a man of more than ordinary ability, honest and upright in his dealings and leaves a host of friends to mourn his departure.

He is survived by his wife and one son, Charles Edward, who are left to grieve over their great loss.

Funeral rites were held at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian church last Monday afternoon with Rev. R. Donaldson of Omaha officiating, and interment was made in the Fort Calhoun cemetery.
