FORMER BLAIR MERCHANT PASSES

Axel T. Swanson, age 48 years, passed away Tuesday, October 24, of heart trouble, his death coming suddenly.

He was born in Sweden in 1891, and came to America when twenty four years of age, arriving in Blair in 1920. He went into business here and built the store now known as the Bohs store.

He left Blair in 1929, and lived in Grand Island for a time, and later in North Platte. Most of his life he spent in the meat business, and at his death was employed by the Flicker Packing Company.

He leaves his widow, Mrs. Sadie Swanson and an adopted daughter, Mrs. John Sutherland, who resides in Blair.

The funeral services were held in North Platte last Sunday, and Mrs. Sutherland from Blair was in attendance.
