MRS. L. M. SPRAGUE PASSES AWAY

Mrs. George C. McQuarrie received word Wednesday evening (yesterday) of the death of her mother, Mrs. L. M. Sprague of Los Angeles, California. Mrs. Sprague, who had been in critical condition for the past week, will be remembered by many friends in Blair who knew her when she visited her daughter and family at various times in the past.

Mrs. Sprague was the first linotype operator in the state, working for the Nebraska State Journal in Lincoln under the employ of the late Jake North. For some years she has been retired, making her home with her son, H. H. Sprague of Los Angeles. She is survived by the son and two daughters, Mrs. McQuarrie of Blair and Mrs. Clinton Morehouse of Burton, Nebraska.
