| Stanley C. Andreasen, 89, of Fremont died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009, at a Lincoln Care Center.
He was born March 17, 1920, in Orum and was raised in the Herman-Orum area. He attended Rose Hill High School and moved to Fremont in 1938. He served in the Army in World War II and then returned to Fremont. He married Mildred McGee on Sept. 30, 1945, in Fremont. He was co-owner of Andy's Garage with his father, Emanuel, and his brother, Kenneth, for 42 years until 1981.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include, his wife, Mildred; three sons, Steve Andreasen (and wife, Sharon) of Cherokee, Iowa; David Andreasen (and wife, Marilynn) of Lincoln; and Douglas Andreasen (and wife, Di) of Knoxville, Tenn.; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Fremont with the Rev. Lee Forman and the Rev. Walter Hickman officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Dugan Funeral Chapel with family present from 6-8 p.m. Burial will be at Memorial Cemetery.
A memorial has been established to First Baptist Church.
