Henry Lamb, and early settler in this county, passed away at Lead, South Dakota on September 4th, and was buried in Elk City on Thursday, September 7. He was born in Kentucky, and came with this parents to this county in 1869.

His father homesteaded near Rose Hill and here Henry was reared to manhood.

He was eighty two years of age at his death, and leaves two daughters, Mrs. W. F. Ramser of Lead, South Dakota, and Mrs. J. W. Sherwood of Sidney, Nebraska and three sons, Charles of Blair, George of Fremont and John of Ely, Nevada and one sister, Mrs. W. T. Meadow of Fremont and one brother, Charles of Carter, Oklahoma.

Funeral services were held in Fremont, and interment was made in Elk City, Nebraska.
