YOUTH, 17, SUICIDE VICTIM LATE SUNDAY

Gifford Moore, Former CCC Member, Leaves No Motive Gifford Moore, 17 year old son of P. J. Moore, residing north of Blair, was found dead in his home Sunday evening. The death was apparently a suicide. A gun poised on two chairs with the trigger hooked up with a string so that a pull on the string would, with the youth lying in position to discharge the gun, was found to take the full charge.

The officers made no investigation, and the Campbell Mortuary was called to care for the body.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Campbell Mortuary, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.

No reason has been reported for the cause of the act.
