BURT MARSH DIES AT 78 YEARS

Burt Marsh, an old settler of this county, died at the Good Samaritan hospital at Fremont on last Thursday, June 29, at the age of 78 years.

He was born in Jackson county, Michigan on June 21, 1861, and came to this county with his parents in 1882, and had lived practically all the time since on the same farm.

On December 25, 1890 he was married to Margaret E. Innes, and to this union six children were born, four of whom, with the wife, are left to mourn his death. The children are: Albert of Tacoma, Washington; William and Stanley and Mrs. Jessie Holstein, all of the Spiker neighborhood.

Three brothers, Fred of Seattle, Washington; Orio of Uehling, Nebraska; and Alfred of Sidney, Nebraska and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, July 2nd at 2 p.m. from the Bendorf funeral Home with Rev. Ralph P. Rasmussen officiating, and interment was made in the Rose Hill cemetery.
