ROLAND ORMSBY OF ARLINGTON DIES Roland Ormsby, widely known Arlington orchard operator, died at a Fremont hospital at 8 o’clock Sunday night.

Ormsby was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Major Ormsby, retired ranchers who reside at Casper, Wyoming. He was born in Casper, Wyoming August 17, 1908. He attended Shattuck Military academy at Faribault, Minnesota for three years, and graduated from Casper high school.

June 9, 1928 he was married to Nellie Williams at Fort Collins, Colorado, and they took up their residence on the Ormsby apple farm at Arlington. They have resided there since.

Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Betty Lou, one son, Richard; his parents; two brothers, Lawrence and Orlan and two sisters, Mrs. Helen Gidley and Mrs. Alice Thompson, all of Casper. His parents have been vacationing in the south, and received the news of his death at Phoenix, Arizona.

Private funeral services were held at the home near Arlington at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, Rev. C. C. Watkins officiating, assisted by Rev. Van Valkenburgh. Burial was made in the Arlington cemetery.

Note: There is a Ormsby child with burial records in the Arlington, Nebraska Cemetery but I could find no burial records for Roland Ormsby.
