MRS. RICHARD NELSON, OF ORUM DEATH VICTIM

Spent Entire Life in the Orum Community and Was Highly Respected

Anna Jorgine Nelson was born at Orum June 22, 1882, and died January 3rd, 1939. All her life was spent in the same neighborhood, with the exception of a few months which were spent in California. She was a native of this county in its truest sense.

On February 2, 1900 she was married to Richard L. Nelson, and to them five children were born, Leona Jensen, Blair; Myrtle Atkinson, Monrovia, California; Evelyn Colter, Wasco, California; Leonard Nelson, Arlington and Viola Hinz, Blair, who with the bereaved husband, mourn her death.

Besides these, she leaves a brother, Chris Rasmussen of Blair and three sisters, Mrs. Laura Hinkley and Emma Nelson of Blair and Mrs. Mary Jensen of Denver, Colorado. Eight grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. from the church at Orum with Rev. Carlson officiating, and interment will be made in the Orum cemetery.
