FORMER RESIDENT DIES AT 87

Word was recently received by friends of the death of Mrs. William Howe on December 15. The Howe family will be well remembered by a number of old friends. They resided for a number of years on the bottom north of Blair.

They moved from here some twenty years ago, going to Modesta, California, and shortly after their removal, the husband died and until a year ago, Mrs. Howe lived by herself. About a year ago she went to live with her daughter, Mrs. Bessie Hacket, also of Modesta.

At her death she was past 87 years of age. Funeral services were held on December 17 in Modesta. She leaves three sons and three daughters to mourn her death.
