Van Horn, Susan (Tyson) Mar 19, 1937 - Jan 22, 2017 Age 79. Devoted wife of 52 years, mother to six children, and cherished grandmother. Susan primarily devoted herself as a homemaker, and she helped manage the Beau Manoir Townhomes which she and Russ developed. She loved her many years at their second home at Lake of the Ozarks. Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Van Horn, daughter, Tami Van Horn, parents, Ned and Irma Tyson, and her brothers, George Tyson and Tom Tyson. She is survived by five children: Kimberly Grassmeyer, Robert Van Horn (Jayme), Deborah Fleming (Jim), Jenifer Malec, and Michelle Witters (Dan); six grandchildren: Jeffry Grassmeyer (Abby), Justin Grassmeyer (Chelsea), Aaron and Jonathan Malec, Jessica and Emery Witters; sister, Nancy Jo Axtell; sisters-in-law, Nancy Jane Tyson and Sandy Tyson Scott; and many beloved extended family and friends. VISITATION on Friday, Jan. 27th, from 4pm to 6pm, with SERVICE at 6pm and a RECEPTION immediately following, all at the Bel Air Chapel. Private Family Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
