WILL CAMPBELL DIES IN MONTANA

Word reached Blair this Thursday morning of the death of Will Campbell, a long-time newspaper man. Campbell married a Blair girl, Miss Maude Carter, a daughter of Nathan Carter, a pioneer settler.

Campbell was in Blair for some years, and was editor and owner of “The Knocker”, a magazine devoted mostly to human nature. Like most newspaper men, Will hated a hypocrite, and his magazine was rightly named for he hit a nail on the head every issue of his magazine.

He went to Helena, Montana, where he entered the newspaper field and made quite a reputation as a writer.

He will be buried in Helena but no account of the funeral arrangements have as yet been made.
