SERVICES HELD WEDNESDAY FOR EARL UEHLING

Earl Conrad William Uehling was born on a farm five miles northeast of Hooper, Nebraska June 1, 1902, and passed away at his home in Herman November 28, 1938 at the age of 36 years, 5 months and 27 days. He had resided in Herman during the past eleven years.

Mr. Uehling leaves his father, Conrad H. Uehling, and a sister, Mrs. Roma West, both of Herman, besides several distant relatives and many friends to mourn his death.

Funeral services were held at the Herman Methodist church at two o’clock Wednesday afternoon November 30. Rev. A. W. Clarke officiated. Interment was made in the Herman cemetery.

HERMAN MAN, 36, COMMITS SUICIDE

EARL UEHLING SHOOTS SELF AT HIS HOME MONDAY; NO MOTIVE GIVEN

Earl Uehling, 36, Herman resident 11 years, committed suicide in an upstairs room of his home Monday eyening by shooting himself. No reason was given for his deed.

Born June 1, 1902, on a farm northeast of Hooper, he came to Herman with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Conrad H. Uehling, in 1927. His mother died in the spring of 1935.

Surviving are his father and one sister, Mrs. Ben West of Herman.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Herman Methodist church, the Rev. A. W. Clarke officiating. Interment followed in Herman cemetery.
