FORMER HERMANITE BURIED MONDAY

Funeral services were held at 2:30 o’clock at the Baptist church in Herman Monday, November 21 for Mrs. A. Gwyn of Lincoln, Nebraska. Rev. A. W. Clarke of the local Methodist church officiated. The singers were L. D. Long, Fred Robertson, Francis Forsberg and C. R. Gray. Interment was made in the Herman cemetery.

Anna Marie Petersen Gwyn was born on a farm six miles west of Herman, Nebraska on August 21, 1882, and died at Lincoln, Nebraska on November 18, 1938 being 51 years, 2 months and 28 days at the time of her death. She was married to Leo Hugelman June 25, 1907, and to this union seven children were born: Kenneth, Bernice, Evelyn, Willard, Howard, Junior and Ruthene, all except Kenneth and Evelyn are living at home.

The husband passed away December 4, 1928. January 16 1933 she was united in marriage to Claude Gwyn at Omaha, Nebraska. A little over two years ago the family moved to Lincoln, Nebraska, and she was residing there at the time of her death.

When a young girl she was baptized in the Lutheran faith. She leaves to mourn her passing, besides the husband and seven children, two brothers, Alfred Petersen and Ernest Petersen of Millard, Nebraska and many other relatives and a host of friends.
