MRS. OTTO ALLEN RITES MONDAY

Mrs. Otto Allen died last Saturday, June 7th, at the home of her daughter in Omaha. She had suffered with pneumonia but had apparently recovered when she again took ill.

As Emma Love she was born in Indiana on June 11, 1867 so was nearing her eightieth birthday. When she was two years of age the family came to this county where she was reared.

In the spring of 1890 she had gone back to Indiana, and while there she married Otto Allen who survives her. They at once came to this county where they made their home until a few years ago when they moved to Omaha.

Besides the husband three children of the five born to them are living. They are Mrs. Arthur Lorenzen and Mrs. Ruth Utterback of Omaha and Ray Allen of Chicago. She also has one brother, George Love of Blair who is the only member left of the original family.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Methodist church in Blair, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
