Sam Warrick's mother, Mrs. E.H. Warrick, died last Sunday at her home on the farm near Tekamah, at the advanced age of 91 years and 8 days. Five years ago she was doing her own housework but an accident made her unable to walk from that time, though her general health remained good up to the last year. Funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon and yesterday evening her son, Sam, and daughter, Mrs. Hattie Talbot, of Broken Bow, started for Pittsboro, Indiana where interment will be made by the side of her husband, who died October 30th, 1864. Ruth Whiteman was born in Harrison county, W. Va., Feb. 2nd, 1816 and was married to E.H. Warrick in Rush county, Ind. in 1835. In 1879, she removed to Burt county where she lived the balance of her long life. She was the mother of eight children, all of whom survive her.
