CHRIS. ANDERSEN DIED OCTOBER 3RD

After an illness of several weeks’ duration, Christoffer Andersen passed away Saturday, October 3rd at the age of 68 years, 1 month and 9 days.

Deceased was born in Denmark, and at the age of seventeen came to this country where he worked as a farm hand for a time.

On February 24, 1899 he was married to Sena Collins, and they immediately went to housekeeping on a farm southwest of Blair which he had purchased and where they lived until three years ago when they retired from active life and moved to Blair.

Three children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Andersen, two sons, Christian and Walter and a daughter, Irene.

Funeral services were held from the Bendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday afternoon, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
