Ill for more than a year with heart trouble, Frank Moffatt passed away Monday, August 29, at Omaha where he had lived for a number of years. Deceased was a former Herman resident. Surviving are three sisters and six brothers. Funeral services are held from the Hoffman funeral home Wednesday afternoon. Burial was made in the Herman cemetery.

Note: The name seems to be spelled Moffitt. No burial record were found for him in the Herman, Nebraska Cemetery. His father Samuel Jackson Moffitt and mother Mary Frances Moffitt are buried in the Herman Cemetery. The Vig Files at the Danish American Archives records that there were 13 children in the family. I found records saying Franks wife was Amelia.
