Eugene Jackson, former Herman and Blair resident, died at an Omaha hospital Sunday, January 16th. The deceased, who was 72 years old, had been in failing health for more than a year.

Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, the former Grace Warrick of Blair, and by a daughter Jean Frances Osterlik.

Mrs. Jeanette Jackson of West Nebraska Street, Blair, is a sister-in-law. John Jackson of Herman is a brother as in Tommy K. Jackson of California. Mrs. Julie Bendorf, who also lives in California, is a sister.

There are a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Roeder Funeral Home on Ames Avenue in Omaha at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
