PIONEER DIES AT FONTANELLE

Mrs. Ira E. Cahoon, a resident of Fontanelle since 1862, died at her home there last Friday morning. Mrs. Cahoon was 82 years of age, and came to Fontanelle with her parents when but six years of age. She had been ill for about three weeks. Mrs. Cahoon was a native of Illinois.

Funeral services were held at the Fontanelle church at 3 o’clock last Monday afternoon, and burial was made in the Oak Lawn cemetery near Fontanelle.
