MISS MARY RUTH BOLT, 37, DIED

SIX-WEEK ILLNESS PROVES FATAL TO LIFETIME RESIDENT OF BLAIR

Miss Mary Ruth Bolt, aged 37, lifetime resident of Blair, died Friday at the Bolt residence, 500 west Jackson street. She had been ill for six weeks, complications developing from flu.

Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Emmet Bolt of this city, she was born December 31, 1898, in the same house she was to live in all her life. She had never married.

Surviving are three brothers, Guy of Council Bluffs, Carl A. of Schuyler and Dr. W.J. Bolt, Tekamah; five sisters, Mrs. L.R. Pilcher of Albion, Mrs. D.C. Gill of Tekamah, Mrs. Chris E. Jensen, Mrs. Frank Wilson and Miss Helen Bolt, all of Blair.

Rev. Newell Officiates

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Congregational church. Officiating was the Rev. Arthur F. Newell of Lincoln, formerly pastor of the Blair church. Pallbearers were six cousins of Miss Bolt; Ray Rosenbaum of Kennard, S.A. Wassum of Tekamah, Ralph Rosenbaum and Wayne Dorsey of Missouri Valley, Elmer Rosenbaum of Omaha and Harold Rosenbaum of Cedar Rapids, Nebraska. Burial was in the family lot in Blair Cemetery.

Among out-of-town people present at the services were Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Dexter, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Fowler, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Rosenbaum, Misses Marjorie Pilcher and Erma Wassum, all of Omaha; Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Rosenbaum, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Dorsey, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rosenbaum, all of Missouri Valley; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Rosenbaum and C.S. Rosenbaum of Cedar Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Shaffer, Mr. and Mrs. S.A. Wassum and Miss Dorothy, all of Tekamah; the Rev. and Mrs. A.F. Newell, Lincoln; Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Rosenbaum and Billy, all of Kennard.

#2 4 June, 1936 - The Enterprise MARY RUTH BOLT Mary Ruth Bolt passed away at her home in Blair on May 29, 1936. She was born in Blair December 31, 1898, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Emmet Bolt. She received her education in Blair, and after the death of her parents, she and her sister, Helen, continued to reside in the home where she passed away. Three brothers, Guy G. of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Carl A. of Schuyler and Dr. W. J. of Tekamah and five sisters: Mrs. R. L. Pilcher of Albion, Mrs. Chris E. Jensen, Mrs. Frank Wilson and Miss Helen Bolt of Blair and Mrs. D. C. Gill of Tekamah are the surviving relatives of the immediate family. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the local Congregational church with Rev. A. F.
