FUNERAL HELD HERE FOR SAM CHRISTENSEN, 83

Sam Christensen, 83, a brother of Mrs. Andrew R. Brock of Blair, died last Tuesday evening at a rest home in McPherson, Kan. He was survived by one son and four daughters.

The son, whose home is in Idaho, was enroute to Blair at the time and did not learn of his father's death until his arrival here.

The body of Mr. Christensen was brought to Blair, where services were held at the Bendorf Funeral Home Saturday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Ralph Kersey of the Christian Church officiated, and burial followed in Blair Cemetery.
