Services for Thomas Jaber, age 75 of Omaha, who died July 3, 1993 at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha were Tuesday, July 6 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church with burial in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

Thomas P. Jaber was born March 27, 1918 at Blair to Michael and Rosie Sarkies Jaber. He attended school in Blair.

He served in the Army during World War II.

He was a boat operator and worked on river construction for many years. he was a member of the Local 571 Operators Union in Omaha.

He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion Post in South Omaha and St. Mary's Catholic Church in Omaha.

He married Celia Redl. She preceded him in death in 1957.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers.

He is survived by two daughters, Paula Jaber, Beatrice, Nebraska and Nancy Jaber, Los Gatos, California; a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Diane Jaber, Omaha; two grandchildren, Christine Jaber and Ryan Jaber, Omaha; a sister, Amelia Metzler, Omaha and a sister-in-law, Viola "Ole" Jaber, Omaha.

Campbell-Amen funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
