HOLD RITES FOR GARRYOWEN MAN

Michael Kelly, 74 years of age, was found dead in his home in the Garryowen school district last Sunday afternoon. His housekeeper had been away on a visit to a neighbor, and on her return found the aged man dead.

Mr. Kelly was well known in the vicinity of Fort Calhoun where he had been a long-time resident. He was never married. His housekeeper, it is reported, had been with him for a number of years.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, and interment was made in the Fort Calhoun cemetery.

Note: I checked with the Sexton of the Fort Calhoun Cemetery and he has no records of Michael Kelly being buried there. His mother and siblings are buried at St. Mary's Cemetery in Omaha. Her Find a Grave memorial # is 129606087.
