Funeral services were held Sunday for Mrs. A.F. Armstrong of Omaha, who passed away Friday, April 11. The deceased was a former Blair resident coming here in 1880 and living here about thirty years. She was a sister-in-law of Mr. Sheldon Peck, being his wife's sister. At the time of her residence here she was a dress maker and well known to the ladies of the community as she was a most efficient seamstress.

At the time of her death, she was eighty-five years of age.

She is survived by one son, Hayes Armstrong, her brother-in-law, Mr. Peck and several nieces and nephews.

Burial was made in the Blair cemetery.
