PETER PETERSEN BURIED SUNDAY

Peter Petersen, early settler of the Arlington vicinity and veteran nursery salesman, known over eastern Nebraska where he had sold nursery stock for the past 35 years, was buried Sunday from the Methodist church at Arlington. The Rev. Thomas W. Parkin was assisted by the Rev. Ralph P. Rasmussen, former pastor, now of Blair. There were many beautiful floral offerings. Therlo Reckmeyer, with Mrs. C. N. Decker as accompanist, sang two solos “I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say” and “The Lord’s Prayer”. The pallbearers were Henry Rasmussen, Frank Rahlfs, Chet G. Marshall, Charles Andrews, Tom Dowell and A. M. Steen.

Funeral arrangements were by W. A. Reckmeyer and son.
