Frances L. Flora, 87, of Blair, died Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home with interment at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Branson Cemetery at Loveland, Iowa.

Frances Leah Ray was born June 18, 1924, at Centertown, Mo., to James and Esther (Gibbler) Ray. She graduated from Centertown High School.

On March 3, 1945, she married Edgar Flora at Jefferson City, Mo. They moved to Omaha in the mid-1950s and, in 1983, to Blair.

Mrs. Flora worked at Immanuel Fontanelle Home in Omaha for a period of time. She was a member of the Congregational Church in Blair, St. Joseph Villa support group in Omaha, and the Crowell Home Bible study group.

She is survived by her children and spouses, Wayne and Mary Flora, Blair, Joyce and Richard Wojtkiewicz, Omaha, Jim and Diane Flora, Glenwood, Iowa, Carol and Jerry Nath, Plattsmouth, Donna and Randy Davis Sr., West Point, and Rhonda and Monte Morast, Malvern, Iowa; 29 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Hazel and Richard Craig, St. Louis, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Linda Shook; son, Clyde; grandsons, Michael Flora, Travis Faith; three brothers, Robert, Carl and Harold Ray; and sister, Peggy Johnson.

Services 10:30 am Wednesday at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Burial 1:30 pm Wednesday, Branson Cemetery, Loveland, IA. Visitation begins 1 pm Tuesday, with family receiving friends 6-8pm.
