PAUL CROSBY

Dr. Paul Crosby, a resident of this section of the state since 1890, passed away Friday, February 18, at the Crowell Memorial Home where he had been a guest since October, 1926. At his death he was 81 years, 2 months and 22 days old.

He was born in Markham, Ontario, Canada, where his youth and early manhood was spent. He was married to Marian Badgerow on May 19, 1884 in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. To this union were born two daughters, Mrs. Ella Claycomb and Mrs. Lydia Freehand, both of Omaha, and one son, Hartley of Washington state.

Besides the wife and children, he leaves a sister, Mrs. Priscilla Longstaff of Winnipeg, Canada, and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

As a veterinarian he practiced his profession in Florence and Blair for a number of years, and made many friends who admired him for his integrity and who sympathize deeply with the family.

Funeral services were held in the Crowell Home last Monday, February 21, at 2:00 pm., and interment was made in the Blair cemetery. Rev. A. D. Burress, superintendent of the Home, officiated at the ceremonies.
