MRS. H. DREVSEN BURIED IN KENNARD Anna Marie Jeppesen Drevsen was born June 28, 1867 at Viele, Denmark, and departed this life at her home in Bassett, Nebraska February 8, 1938 at the age of 70 years, 7 months and 10 days.

She came to America with her parents at the age of five years. They resided at Kennard, Nebraska where she grew to womanhood, and was united in marriage with Henry C. Drevsen on December 26, 1893. To this union were born three sons and two daughters. In 1919 the family went to Rock county, and have resided in Bassett for a number of years.

Mrs. Drevsen was confirmed in the Lutheran church in her early life, and was a faithful attendant of the Bassett Methodist church where she was active in the Ladies Aid and Missionary society.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, H. C. Drevsen and five children: George of Bassett; Otis and Delmar of Sherman, Texas; Mrs. Henrietta Gay of Bassett; Mrs. Lyda Shadley of Dallas, Texas; and four grandchildren, Mary Rex and Constance Gay, Su Ann and Thomas Shadley and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service was held at the First Methodist church in Blair with the Rev. Ralph P. Rasmussen officiating on last Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock, February 11, with interment at Kennard.

Gifford Dixon sang two numbers, accompanied by Miss Gertrude Mead at the piano.
