Word reached former friends here of the death of Dr. Franklin S. Taylor of Hastings on Thursday. Dr. Taylor took his own life by inhaling monoxide gas in his garage. He had been very despondent on account of ill health. At one time Dr. Taylor was a dentist here, and he and Mrs. Taylor lived here for a number of years. He is survived by his wife and one son, Jimmie, who is now a freshman in the state university. Funeral services were held in Hastings on Saturday afternoon.
