Rasmus Peterson, aged eighty-six years, passed away at his home in this city last Friday evening. He had been a resident of Fremont for nearly a quarter of a century and had enjoyed remarkably good health of late years until about two weeks before his demise. The funeral services were held at the family home on Sunday, at 2:30, with a later service at the Danish Lutheran church. The deceased left three surviving daughters and four sons, the wife having died about seven years ago. The children are Miss Mary Peterson, Mrs. Martin Sorenson and Mrs. Robert M. Herre, all of Fremont; Elesius, residing in Denmark, and Chris, Henry and Martin Peterson, who live in Washington county.-Fremont Herald
