Services Held Sat. For Alex Feer

Alex Feer of 1443 Park Street died Wednesday, Dec. 16, at the age of 87. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Campbell Mortuary.

Mr. Feer was born in Burt County December 16, 1877, to Andrew and Hannah Feer.

As a young man he was employed by the Chicago Northwestern Railroad as bridge foreman, headquartering at Norfolk, Nebraska. After the death of his father in 1933 he returned to Blair to make his home with his mother. She preceded him in death and Mr. Feer continued to make his home there until his death last Wednesday.

A sister, Vivian, and two brothers, John and Delmar, preceded him in death. The survivors are Alfred Feer of Blair and two sisters, Mrs. Christine Jipp of Blair and Mrs. Evelyn Schmitz of Whittier, California, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Frank Morrison, Ted Bixler, Don Feer, Evans Vlasak, Don Rudolph and Fred Gilliland.
