#1-23 Nov., 1903 - The Pilot - Will Seeley

Will Seeley died at the Clarkson hospital, Omaha, at 2 p.m. Sunday, and will be brought to Blair this afternoon. The funeral service will be held between 1 and 2 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. Seeley was in the employ of the railroad as a brakeman and about two years ago was injured by a fellow brakeman swinging a lantern, striking him on the side of the head, fracturing his skull. About a month ago he went to Omaha to be treated and was unable to withstand the shock of the operation. The funeral will be in charge of the I.O.O.F. lodge, Mr. Seeley being a member of the order at Pacific Junction, Iowa. He was an exceptionally bright young man, full of promise and The Pilot regrets his early taking away and with the many friends of the family it desires to extend its sympathy to the bereaved mother and family.
