Huebert; mother, Dorothy Wright; sister, Patti Pieper; brother, James Wright. Sandy was born on October 12, 1952 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the first child of Rolland and Dorothy Wright. After graduating from Underwood, Iowa High School in 1970, she began working as an artist for Northwestern Bell Yellow Pages in Omaha. Sandy enjoyed many activities: traveling, photography, and painting, and time spent with family and friends.

Sandy married Robert Dietrich on June 11, 1983, making their home in Omaha. She retired from the phone company after the birth of their daughter, Sara, in 1986. Sandy enjoyed being a mother, homemaker and school volunteer.

Sandy was overjoyed to become a grandmother to grandson, Caden. She loved him very much and he always brought a smile to her face.
