In Loving Memory Robert "Bob" Baker

February 23, 1935 ~ February 3, 2019

Bob was born in Omaha to parents, Margaret and Joe. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1952, served in the Korean War, and retired in 1978. Bob married his wife of 62 years, Jan, in 1956. After retiring, Bob earned multiple advanced degrees pursuing a career as a Respiratory Therapist at UNMC. He served his community as a volunteer fireman/paramedic, and was an active member of the Papillion Masonic Lodge #39. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; and sister Arlene. He is survived by his wife Jan; four children: Pamela Merritt, Phillip (Kathy) Baker, Gregory (Shawn) Baker and Laurene (Doug) Brown; grandchildren: Katrina, Cassandra, Joseph, Brittany, Savannah, Ben, McKenna, and Sadie; 6 great-grandchildren, and brother Don Baker

Funeral Service Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 2 pm Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home. Officiated by pastor David Linkugel.

Interment Following the Funeral Service Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park. Military Funeral services performed by United States Air Force.
