E. R. HARDY OF FORT CALHOUN DIED SATURDAY OF HEART ATTACK

E. R. Hardy, 71, of Fort Calhoun, died suddenly at his home Saturday from a heart attack. Funeral rites were held Tuesday at the Presbyterian Church in Fort Calhoun and burial was at Magnolia, IA. There were Masonic rites at the graveside. The Sievers Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.

Survivors of Mr. Hardy include his wife, Donzella, and a son, William of Omaha. A brother, William Hardy of Wyoming, also survives, as do three sisters; Mrs. Mamie Plath of Washington State, Mrs. Fred Walcott of Oklahoma and Mrs. Florence Lemay of Omaha.

Mr. Hardy was manager of the Nash Clothing Co. in Omaha for many years. The Hardys have lived at Rosemere Lodge south of Fort Calhoun for a number of years.
