FORMER COUNTY MAN KILLED IN PLANE CRASH

Ray Case, a former Washington county man, was killed Saturday in the crash of a light plane in the Salt Lake City area. Case is a son of Mrs. Delpha Case of Herman and a brother of Edward Case, also of Herman. He was 40 years old.

The crash occurred in mountainous area and was not discovered until searchers came upon the wreckage Monday. Mr. Case was a member of the National Guard and it was believed that he was flying a patrol plane at the time of the accident.

Besides his mother and brother mentioned above, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Howard Bilderback of Ft. Calhoun and a sister, Mrs. Granville Dorn, of Tekamah. Two brothers, Howard Case and Alphus Case live in California.

Mr. Case's wife and son and daughter live at Salt Lake City.

Funeral services will be Friday at Salt Lake City.
