JOHN COOPER DROWNED SATURDAY

John R. Cooper, 25 years of age, of Omaha, died Saturday while swimming at Merritt Beach near Plattsmouth.

Mr. Cooper is survived by his mother, Mrs. Sylvia Cooper of Blair; three brothers, William and Frank Cooper of Blair and Albert Cooper of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Ed Kiser of Davey, Nebraska and Mrs. Bill Schmitz of Spalding, Nebraska.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock at the O'Connar Catholic Church at Greeley, Nebraska with interment in the Greeley Cemetery.
