Owing to the storm Wednesday, the funeral of Mrs. Fry was postponed until Thursday.

Mrs. Caroline Cook Fry died at the age of 73 at her home Tuesday morning after a brief illness. It was a shock to all her friends, yet it was known she had been feeble for the past few years. Mrs. Fry was one of the oldest residents of this community, having come here from Pennsylvania in 1868. She was the mother of seven children, five of whom are living. They are: Mrs. Newton Mundorf, Mrs. G. Cooper, Mrs. Q. Mundorf, Hattie and Laura. She is also survived by three brothers and four sisters.

Mrs. Fry was loved and respected by all who knew her. She had the pleasure of having the loving care of all her daughters all through life, as all her children reside near their old home. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church here at which place the funeral service took place Thursday, conducted by Rev. Elliott, of Craig. Interment taking place here in the cemetery by the church.
