MRS. CORA HINZ, 90., DIED MONDAY

Mrs. Cora Hinz, lifelong resident of Blair and Washington county, died at the Good Shepherd Home Monday. She was 90 years of age.

Mrs. Hinz was a true Washington Countian. She was born in the county and lived in the county her entire life. She was born south of Blair June 15, 1879 and until retirement time lived on a farm southeast of the McCarthy school. Her husband, the late Chris Hinz, was a livestock farmer and the couple built up one of the truly fine farm homes in the area southeast of Blair. Mr. Hinz will be remembered as a long-time County Commissioner.

Mrs. Hinz is survived by her son, Floyd, who is custodial Technician of Memorial Community Hospital, and by one grandson.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon (Thursday) at First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Richard Atherson will conduct the service and burial under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home will be made in the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Stanley Ohrt, Alvin Ohrt, Henry Spring, Kenneth Beales, Ralph Beales and Andrew Nielsen.
