N.H. Shepard died at Rushville on Sunday last, and was buried with Masonic honors on Tuesday. He was the son of Mrs. Captain Contal and one time lived in this county. He was in the mercantile business there, but his health has been poor for some time.
Mrs. Contal was with him when he died and remained until after his remains were laid to rest.
